Tony winning Actress Natasha Richardson,45 daughter of legendary Vanessa Redgrave who was injured in a skiing accident in Canada is reported to be brain dead.

Richardson who is also the wife of Irish Actor Liam Neeson has reportedly been transfered from Canada to New York supposedly to "die with her family around her." Neeson left the set of a film he is working on th be by his wife's side.

Richardson was walking soon after her injury and was complaining of a headache. Reports have been ever changing from she is brain dead to brain swelling. A rep at the ski resort stated that Ms Richardson was joking and talking after the accident and at first refused medical treatment.

Richardson who has starred in family favorites such as "the Parent Trap" and "Maid in Manhattan" is the mother of 2 sons and has been amrried to Actor Liam Neeson since 1994.
